The Life of Thomas Vital Arnould Jr.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 27, 2017 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Thomas Vital Arnould Jr., 48, who passed away on February 22, 2016 at a Broussard nursing facility.
Rev. Howard Blessing, Pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral service.
Burial will take place in Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery.
"Tommy" as he is affectionately known was a former resident of New Iberia and recent resident of Broussard, was the son of the late Thomas Arnould Sr. and the former Hazel Pitre. Tommy enjoyed music, dancing, painting, laughing, being out an about and socializing with people, and opening presents. He loved Coca-Cola, cookies, ice cream, Spiderman and McDonald''''s.
He is survived by his sisters, Julie Thibodeaux and husband Rusty, and Claire Arnould; nephew, Eric Thibodeaux and his wife Emily and their daughter, Madelyn; and nephew, Kevin Thibodeaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 9:00AM until service time.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Hospice Compassus, Camelot of Broussard, Belle Teche, Arc of Acadiana, and Pinecrest State School.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tommy''''s honor can be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana.
