New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 13, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Kevin Michael Hyde, 60, who passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, in Houston, Texas.

Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.

Rev. Tracy King will officiate.

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Visitation will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.

A long time area resident, Mr. Hyde was born on October 30, 1956 to the late James Allen Hyde and Carmen Abadie Hyde. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy and worked in the oilfield for many years. Mr. Hyde was a member of Westside Baptist Church, and his hobbies included hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Battenfield Hyde of New Iberia; sons, Mike Hyde and wife Ashley of New Iberia, Eric Robert Hyde of Nashville, Tennessee, Jarret Keith Hyde and wife Raegan of Huntsville, Texas, Ryan Neal Hyde and wife Erica of Youngsville; daughter, Stacie Ann Hyde of New Iberia; grandchildren, Cody Michael Hyde, Caleb Anthony Hyde, Eli Jackson Hyde; brothers, Craig Hyde of New Iberia, Kerry Hyde and wife Teresa "Sissy" of Houston, Pennsylvania; and a sister, Karen Hyde of New Iberia.

Pallbearers will be Mike Hyde, Eric Hyde, Jarret Hyde, Ryan Hyde, Craig Hyde, and Kerry Hyde.
