The Life of Ronald David Domingue Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Ronald David Domingue, Sr. 63, who died on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at his residence in Lafayette.

Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors and giftbearers will be Ronald David Domingue, Jr. and Jessica Lynn Conrad. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing for the services.

Survivors include his son, Ronald David Domingue, Jr.; his mother, Theresa Lantier Domingue; his sisters, Melissa Martinez and husband, Richard, and Brenda Domingue; his brother, Kenneth Domingue and wife, Paula; his niece and Godchild, Jessica Lynn Conrad; and his nephew, Phillip Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Domingue; and his wife, Buaphan Domingue.

Ronald David Domingue, Sr. was born on August 3, 1953 to Theresa Lantier Domingue and the late Wilson Domingue of Lafayette, LA. Ronald passed away at his home in Lafayette on November 30, 2016. Ronald is a veteran of the US Air Force and served proudly during the Vietnam era, where he worked on the F-4 Phantom Fighter Bomber out of Udon Thani, following with service in the Army National Guard. He leaves behind a host of friends. He knew no strangers; he befriended all with whom he came in contact. He was devoted to his dog, Candy. Ronald was an avid reader of contemporary sci-fi novels, and he loved Stephen King. He also enjoyed that genre in movies. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ronald David Domingue, Jr., Kenneth Domingue, Richard Martinez, Rudy Dupuis, Corey Conrad, and Phillip Lewis.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN location on Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

A Rosary will be prayed Friday at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home.
