The Life of Marie Louise Richard
LAFAYETTE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at St. Genevieve Catholic Church for Marie Louise Ardoin Richard, 83, who passed away on November 4, 2016.
Reverend Louis Richard will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Marie, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Nat Joseph Ardoin and the former Marie Celestine Dossman.
She is survived by her children, Chip Richard, Celeste Fontenot and husband, Michael and Shawn Richard and wife, Marcia; four grandchildren, Lauren and Victoria Fontenot, Ryan and Andrew Richard; one brother, Joey Ardoin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ovide B. Richard, Jr. and one sister, Dorothy Jean LaCombe and husband, Donald.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
