The Life of Wayne Horace Comeaux

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at a 12:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for Wayne Horace Comeaux, age 74, who passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 12:48 AM at his residence in Metairie, Louisiana.

Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Reverend Patrick Broussard, Associate Pastor of Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Lector will be John Earl LeBlanc. Giftbearers will be his sisters, Juanita Russo and Cynthia Fleming Hightower.

Survivors include his sisters, Juanita Russo and husband, Earl Russo, and Cynthia Hightower; his brother, Wilmer R. Comeaux, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian Desormeaux Comeaux and Wilmer Roman (Jack) Comeaux.

A resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for all of his life, Wayne was a loving brother and friend. He graduated from Lafayette High School. Wayne was always devoted to his parents. Wayne was an usher and 4th Degree Knight of Columbus at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. He retired from Albertson''s Grocery. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN location on Saturday from 9:30 AM to until time of service.

A Rosary will be prayed Saturday at 10:30 AM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home by the Knights of Columbus.
