The Life of Mable Boulet

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at a 1:30 PM Mass of Christian Burial in Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette for Mable Boulet, 95, who died on Friday, August 26, 2016 at The Carpenter House in Lafayette.

Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Reverend Chester Arceneaux, Rector of Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors and Giftbearers will be her loving nieces.

She leaves to cherish her memory; one sister, Minnie Schmitz; one brother; Mac Boulet; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Mayard; two brothers, Lee Boulet, and Abdon Joseph Boulet; and her parents, Walter and Nedia Stout Boulet.

Mable was a native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. She worked as a secretary for Boy Scouts of America for over 31 years, the United Way, and was a Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultant for over 38 years. Miss Boulet was very health conscious, never late for her aerobics class or her favorite game, Mexican Train. She enjoyed oil and water painting and was an avid bowler. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 10:30 AM in Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN Location.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of services.
