The Life of Warren "Dick" Richard Farmer III

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, August 24,2016 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Warren Richard "Dick" Farmer, III, with Military Honors to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mr. Farmer, a resident of Lafayette , was the son of the late Warren Richard Farmer, II and the former Lottie Ursula Chapman and husband of the late Joycelyn Marie Lavergne of Opelousas for 52 years. He was a U. S. Marine and Air Force veteran and served in the Korean Conflict, worked for Hughes Tool Company in 1955 in Eunice as a Field Salesman and retired in 1987 in Houston, TX as Senior Vice-President of Marketing for the US and Canada.
He is survived by two sons, Warren Richard (Rick) Farmer, IV and his wife Patricia of Youngsville and David Glen (Grumpy) Farmer and his wife Suzanne of Brandon, MS; daughter, Donna (Don Don) Kimball and her husband Craig of Lafayette; sister, Carolyn Durio of Lafayette; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 11:00AM until time of service.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Kimball, Taylor Kimball, Robert Landry, Jack Barnage, Roy Duhon and Craig Kimball.
The family wishes to express appreciation to The Petroleum Club of Lafayette and Hospice of Acadiana for taking care of their father.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his honor be made to: St. Jude Children''s Home and Hospice of Acadiana at http://www.hospiceacadiana.com/ or a charity of your choice.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
