The Life of Carolyn Ann Mills
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, August 12, 2016 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Carolyn Ann Logan Mills, age 85, of Lafayette who died at approximately 10:00am on August 6, 2016 at LGMC surrounded by her family.
Carolyn was born in Natchez Mississippi on December 28, 1930 to William E. Logan Sr. and Gabriella Byrne Logan. She was a graduate of The Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau where she obtained a teaching degree.
Carolyn married Gordon J. Mills Jr. in 1963 in Pass Christian MS. Carolyn was a loving mother of four and grandmother of two grandsons.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon J. Mills Jr., three of her children, Gordon (Cherie) Mills III, Gabriella Mills, and Ann (Don) Icard; two grandsons, Joseph and Colin, siblings William E. Logan Jr., Mildred Burress and Margaret Hardie; sister-in-laws, Janice Logan, Marlene Logan and Berinda Logan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Gabriella Logan; her siblings, Edward, Charles, Henry, Floyd, and Mary "Billie" and her daughter, Catherine.
The family request visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 11:00am until time of service.
