Funeral Services will start at 2:00pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 415 Renaud Dr., Lafayette, La. 70507, on Tuesday August 2, 2016 for Mina Derouen Bergeron.
Mina Derouen Bergeron age 80, was born and raised in New Iberia, was married and lived in Lafayette. She passed away July 29, 2016 at 11:30am at Lafayette General Medical Center.
She was a loving daughter, wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She was married to her deceased husband, J. Roy Bergeron of 35 years. They had 8 children, eldest, Lester Bergeron, surviving wife Victoria, Linda Bergeron, Tammy McCarty, Marc Jones wife Tina, Sandra Benoit husband, Barry, Donna Hernandez husband, Ted, Sheila Bellard husband, Troy, Karl Bergeron wife, Mary. She had 19 Grandchildren, and 18 Great Grandchildren. She also had 6 siblings, 4 deceased including Edward, Alice, Rita, Mertle, and 2 surviving brothers, Robert and Frank and wife, Barbara Derouen. All siblings were from New Iberia.
She was a great, wonderful, caring, and loving mother, who will be missed greatly by her family, friends, and she will always be in our prayers and memories.
