The Life of Millicent Ann Jones
Funeral Services for Millicent Ann Jones, 83, will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers-Bertrand, Lafayette with Rev. Gary Funderburk, Associate Pastor of The Bayou Church officiating with burial to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Millicent Ann Jones was the wife of the late David Jones and daughter of the former Hazel Darnell and Milton Smith. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed oil painting and antiques. An avid reader, she had traveled all over the world in her books.
She is survived by her one son, David Jones; granddaughter, Melissa Mulcahy; grandson, Dylan Jones; granddaughter, Jordan Fischer; two great-grandchildren, Abby and Judson Fischer; sister, and brother-in-law, Donna and Gordon Hart; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gwen Jones and sister, Martha Hitt.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand from 11:00 am until time of funeral service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Dr., Lafayette, LA.
