The Life of Lela Marie Dugas

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2016 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Lela Dugas, who passed away on June 6, 2016.

Reverend Anselm Ofudum will celebrate the Mass. Deacon Tim Maragos will con-celebrate.

Burial will take place in Holy Mother of God Cemetery.

Lela was a longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima parish. She worked for Abdalla''s in the oil center for more than 25 years. Lela loved sharing and talking about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She moved to Colorado November 2012 to be near her family.

Lela, a resident of Centennial, Colorado was the daughter of the late Odon Benoit and the former Estelle Holloway.

She is survived by her daughter, Drusilla Dugas Ray and her husband, Phillip Terry Ray; two granddaughters, Lindsay Ray Lafferty and Amanda Louise Ray; three great grandsons, Brody, Parker and Carson Lafferty; three nieces, Becky Roy Brackin, Debbie Roy Guidry and Annette Roy Smith.

She was preceded in death by parents; her husband of 57 years, Nolan J. Dugas and her sister, Dot Roy.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 11:00 am until time of service. A Rosary will be recited at 2:00 pm.

Pallbearers will be Gene Brackin, Jimmy Smith, Phil Ray, Brady Johnson, Jacob Raggio and Ben Smith.
