The Life of Karen Kay Navarre
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at a 12:30 PM Service in Martin & Castille''s La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette for Karen Kay Navarre, 67, who died on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Reverend Terrell Reed will officiate the services. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing for the services, "Amazing Grace", "How Great Thou Art", "The Old Rugged Cross", and "Wind Beneath My Wings".
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sisters, Debra N. Faulk and her spouse Gerald Sr., of Lafayette, Sharon Samples of San Antonio, TX; two nephews, Gerald "Jerry" Faulk, Jr. and his wife Tiffany, and John W. Faulk and his wife Lanette of Lafayette; seven great-nieces and nephews, Taylor Marie Faulk, Jackie Tarver, Heather Bourgeois, John W. Faulk, II Gerald "Trey" Faulk III, Jacob M. Faulk and Alec Fogg; one great-great niece, Bailey Conley; her aunt, Mary Daisy Prosser; and two cousins, Bill Prosser and his wife, Sally and Don Prosser and his wife, Jane.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Stanford Navarre and Opal Sexton Navarre.
Karen Kay Navarre was a loving daughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend to all who knew her. She worked for Canfab Manufacturing Company for many years. Karen enjoyed bowling and photography, but truly cherished her family and friends and loved spending time with them. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers will be Bill Prosser, Don Prosser, Gerald Faulk, Jr., John Faulk, Mitchell Monic and Glenn Laurent.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE Location on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of services.
The family would like to thank her friends for their love and support, Carolyn Gondron Langlinais, Tammy Trahan and Becky Horner.
