The Life of Bernice Meyers
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 21, 2016 for Bernice Meyers, age 92, at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers - Bertrand with burial to follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. William Schambough, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton as celebrant. The recitation of the Rosary will be held at 9:30 AM on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
Mrs. Bernice, a native of the LeBlanc Community and a resident of Abbeville, was the daughter of the late Cemelia LeBlanc and the late Claude Moore. She was the wife of the late Dallas C. Meyers.
She is survived by one son, Stacey Claude Meyers and companion Brenetta Belaire; one daughter, Vickie M. Galligan and her husband Maurice; one brother, Alex Moore; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence, Fred and J. C. Moore and sister, Thelma LeBlanc.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 8:30 AM until the time of service.
