The Life of Dalton Joseph Boudreaux

Delcambre - A celebration of the life of Dalton J. Boudreaux, 81, will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016.  A private interment will be held at a later date.

 The celebration will begin on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM with Military Honors by the Vermilion Honor Guard at 3:00PM and a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM.

 A native of Henry and resident of Delcambre, Dalton J. Boudreaux passed away on Friday, February 05, 2016 at his residence of natural causes.  He proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired from the Air Force after over 21 years of service.  He then retired from the Corps of Engineers after working many years at the Fresh Water Bayou Locks.   

  He is survived by a daughter, Becky Broussard of Abbeville; three sons, Rory  J. Boudreaux and his wife Rhonda of Abbeville, Stacey J. Boudreaux and his wife Sara of Delcambre, and Michael P. Boudreaux of Delcambre; a  brother, Edwin Boudreaux and his wife Lorine of Panama City Beach, FL; a sister, Noella Trahan of Welch; six grandchildren, Shane  Boudreaux and his wife Amy,  Lyle Boudreaux , Kayla Rodriguez and her husband Jesse,  Seth Boudreaux and his wife Michelle,  Chelsi Thibodeaux and her husband Travis, and DeLani Duhon and fiance'' Darnell Norman; seven step grandchildren, Steven Duhon, Kyle Duhon and wife Brandy, Jamie Delahoussaye, Becky Delahoussaye, Ryan Delahoussaye and his wife Britney, Sean Delahoussaye, and Holly Clements and her husband Jason; nine great grandchildren, Alyse Boudreaux, Ayden Boudreaux, Kylie Boudreaux, Micah Rodriguez, Sloane Rodriguez, Alison Boudreaux, Gabriel Thibodeaux, Emery Thibodeaux, and Zaiden Norman; ten step great grandchildren, Kylie Landry, Tre Landry, Kourtni Landry, Drake Landry, Madison Tauzin, Tayler Tauzin, Grace Dugas, Evan Delahoussaye, Morgan Delahoussaye, and Jaxson Delahoussaye; and three step great great grandchildren, Carter Sonnier, Emma Segura, Khloe Landry.

 He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Barras Boudreaux; his parents, Demas Boudreaux and Helena Simon Boudreaux; two brothers, Lenis Boudreaux and Francis Boudreaux; and two sisters Agnes Boudreaux and Gladys Desormeaux.
