(November 6, 1953 – November 25, 2015)

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, November 26, 2015 for Glenda Ann Romero, 62, in the Chapel of Louisiana Funeral Services and Crematory, 108 Hardware Road Broussard, LA.  The family will receive visitors beginning at 2:00 p.m.      until time of religious services at 4:00 p.m. with Chaplain Jody Blanchard officiating.

Glenda was born on November 6, 1953 to the union of Joseph W. and Mary Racca Romero in Lafayette, LA.  She passed away on the morning of Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Amelia Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette, LA.  She was a native of        Lafayette and a 1972 graduate of Carencro High School.

Glenda will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit.  She enjoyed dancing.  Most would agree she was an excellent dancer.  She was employed by Super One foods for over 10 years and also worked as a cashier and manager at Romero’s Liquor Store.  Glenda never met a stranger and always gave a friendly smile to those she encountered.  She was dependable and most of all a hard worker.  Her family was of utmost importance to her.  She loved her children and grandchildren dearly.

Glenda leaves foot prints forever on the hearts of her children Misty Dawn Falcon and Andrew James (Lacey) Falcon; parents Joseph Willis Romero and Mary Virginia Romero; siblings Rebecca (Carl) Varnado, Steve (Liz) Romero, Cynthia “Cindy” (Greg) Fritz and Bobbie (Coby) Begnaud; former husband Chris J. Falcon; grandchildren Brittney Falcon, Tyler Osteen, Kaine Osteen, Katelyn Runnels, Kadyn Falcon, Braelyn Falcon, Dylan Runnels and Dayton Falcon; great-grandchild Mason Chacon.

Glenda now joins in her heavenly home brother, John Romero; niece, Gracey Rushing; maternal grandparents, Amelia and Paul Racca;  paternal grandparents, Elize and Simon Romero.
