The Life of Bertrand St. Denis DeBlanc

LAFAYETTE - Graveside services for Mr. Bertrand S. DeBlanc will be conducted on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery, 3111 Johnston Street Lafayette, LA at 11 a.m.Bertrand S. DeBlanc Jr. passed away on the afternoon of November 18, 2015 in New Iberia, LA with his family by his side. Bertrand resided in San Antonio, TX and Tampa FL but currently called the Lafayette area home. He was one of eight children born to Bertrand DeBlanc Sr. (deceased) and Lillian V. DeBlanc. Bertrand was an avid Saints fan. Always hoping that they would pull off a win. Better yet let''s just say he truly loved watching a good football game. He enjoyed the culture of this area and greatly enjoyed the music festivals. In his spare time he enjoyed gaining knowledge on anything relating to history. Those left with treasured memories of Bertrand are his mother, Lillian DeBlanc and siblings Michael DeBlanc, Dolly Lemaire, Veronica DeBlanc, Melanie Pogue, Louise DeBlanc and Catherine Nickell.Bertrand DeBlanc Jr. was preceeded in death by his father Bertrand DeBlanc Sr. and siblings Daniel DeBlanc and Denise Burris.Final arrangements entrusted to Louisiana Funeral Services & Crematory of Broussard (337) 330-8006.
