The Life of Thelma Ruth Rankin
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Trinity Presbyterian Church for Ruth Rankin, 91, who passed away on September 16, 2015.
Pastor Bob Ogle will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ruth , a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late William and Lucy Prince.
She is survived by her children, Mike Rankin, Gloria Hodge and husband, Hank, Toni Purcell and husband, Mike and Jack Rankin, Jr. and wife, Cindy; eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Jack Rankin Sr; four brothers; eight sisters and her daughter in law, Catherine Rankin.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM. Visiting hours will continue on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3001 Verot School Road, Lafayette, LA 70508 in her memory.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
