The Life of Patricia Lutenbacher
Services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 for Patricia Puckett Lutenbacher, 77, who passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015. Burial will take place at Lafayette Memorial Park at 1:15pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00pm in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers. Immediately following the Service will be a Reception at Delhomme Funeral Home Reception Center.
Pat was born on October 3, 1937 in New Orleans, LA to Charles James Puckett and Patricia Muntz Puckett. She attended LSU and graduated from Our Lady of Holy Cross College with a teaching degree. Pat was a junior high school english and reading teacher for 20 years at Edna Karr Junior High in New Orleans, LA. She moved to Lafayette in the early 1990''s and formed many great friendships, playing cards a couple of times a week. Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her two sons, Charles Puckett Campbell and William Gayle Campbell, III and his wife, Kelly Kalister Campbell; her first husband and father of her children, William Gayle Campbell, Jr. and two granddaughters, Carolyn Michelle Campbell and Laura Elizabeth Campbell.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her second husband, David August Lutenbacher.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to SupportAbility, P.O. Box 4885, Irvine, CA 92616. SupportAbility gives financial aid awards to graduating high school seniors who graduate despite tremendous obstacles, at 18 Orange and Los Angeles County schools.
