The Life of Lisa Roxan Goudeau
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille, for Lisa Roxan M. Goudeau, age 53, who died on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at her residence in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Reverend Chris Blanchard of Covenant United Methodist in Lafayette will conduct the funeral services. Debra LeBlanc, soloist and sister-in-law will sing for the services.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Goudeau of Lafayette; two sons, Timothy Luke Delhomme and Brady Thomas Delhomme; her only sister, Pixan M. Bouchereau and her husband Michael and their son Gregory of San Antonio, Texas; her loving stepmother, Lou Sellers of Lafayette; two aunts, Dorothy McMichael and Liz Meek; one uncle, Reverend Richard Meek and several loving cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie Jean and Edward Clifford Meek, Jr. and maternal grandparents, Ova and Arthur Finley; paternal grandparents, Pearl and Edward Clifford Meek, Sr.; and cousins, Eugene Meek, Sommer Lynn Keel, Mark McMichael and Sonny McMichael.
Roxan was born in Ruston, Louisiana and moved to Lafayette at the age of 11, where she lived until her passing. She graduated from Acadiana High School in 1980 and recently graduated from UL Lafayette. She was very dedicated to working with the Grief Center and Healing House for Kids in Lafayette and was an active member with the Junior League of Lafayette. She worked with her husband Charles in his General Contracting business in Lafayette for the past 15 years.
Pallbearers are Timothy Delhomme, Brady Delhomme, Michael Bouchereau, Gregory Bouchereau, James Michael Marcotte, Luke McMichael and Danny Delhomme.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN location on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
