The Life of Jacqueline Foote
Jacqueline "Jackie" H. Foote, died at the age of 67 on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 due to complications from Leukemia at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans. She goes to join the love of her life, Russell James Foote, in glory.
Jackie was born on October 1, 1947 in Crowley, Louisiana to Clifton "Doc" Hanks and Lena Hanks. She grew up in Morse, Louisiana, where she was the Homecoming Queen of Midland High School, Class of 1965. She retired in Metairie, Louisiana where she attended Munholland United Methodist Church.
Jackie worked for 25 years as an apartment manager in Lafayette and Baton Rouge. She loved music, attending concerts, playing games with her family and talking. Boy, did she love talking. She lived and sacrificed for her family.
She is survived by the joys of her life, her four boys, Kevin Foote and wife, Michelle, Marcus Foote and wife, Roselle, Jason Foote and wife, Melissa, and Eric Boudreaux and wife, Susannah; twelve grandchildren, Tayler, Cassidy, Rylie, Russell, Viviana, Georgia, Jennifer and husband, Turner, Julia, Jolie, Madison, Joshua, Rachel and two great grandchildren, Scarlett and Roman. She is also survived by three siblings, sister Brenda Thibodeaux and husband, Bobby, brothers Ben Hanks and wife, Renee and Steven Hanks and wife, Janice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell James Foote; parents, Lena Moore Hanks and Clifton Hanks; grandchildren, Samuel Foote and Isabella Foote.
Pallbearers will be Ben Hanks, Steven Hanks, Brad Thibodeaux, Bobby Thibodeaux, Joshua Ford, Todd Hoffpauir, Mitchell Trahan and Corey Hanks.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Russell Foote II.
Visitation will be held at Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN location on Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Funeral Services will be held in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2015, conducted by Reverend Richard Humphries of Asbury United Methodist Church. Eulogists will be Ms. Foote''s four sons, Jason, Kevin, Marcus and Eric.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery in Lafayette.
