The Life of John Owen Theriot
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00 am for John Owen Theriot, 54, who passed away on May 31, 2015.
Reverend Steven C LeBlanc, Pastor of St. Pius X Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
John, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Charles Theriot and the former Mary David.
He is survived by his daughter Kristi Guillory and her husband, Jeremy; son, Joshua Theriot; mother, Mary Theriot; five brothers, Tim Theriot, Charles Theriot, Paul Theriot, Art Theriot and William Theriot; two sisters, Martha Lemoine and Stephanie Badger; three grandchildren, Brandon, Bennett and Everett Guillory; companion, Renee'' Bourque.
John loved the outdoors especially camping and caring for his canine companions. He always made it a point to find humor in the toughest situations. He was a kind and generous man who helped those in need. Family came first and foremost.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Theriot, one brother, James Mark Theriot.
