The Life of Enola Dugas

LAFAYETTE ~ “Angels rejoiced today when Enola Dugas entered into heaven’s gates.” Enola Dugas lovingly known as “TeNolle” entered into eternal life on July 8, 2015, after a very courageous battle with cancer. At her side was her beloved “Tiny” who remained at her side, 24 hours a day. TeNolle was 89 years old and resided in Scott, Louisiana the majority of her life.

TeNolle was the beloved mother of Dr. Paul Roger, Jr. and was preceded in death by her beautiful and loving daughter, Deanna Lormand. She is survived by her grandchild Michelle Alleman and great granddaughters Chelsi and Shelbi Allemon along with many nieces and nephews. TeNolle will be greatly missed by her brother, J.C. Dugas and sisters, Eldine Navarre and Sadie Ramagos. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Dugas and her parents, Aglious and Claudia Castille-Dugas.

TeNolle will always be remembered as a very strong and loving woman who worked extremely hard throughout her entire life. She was a very giving person with her time and talents. Her passion was designing and sewing beautiful custom draperies and pillows which graced many elegant homes near and far.

The family of Enola Dugas wishes to thank the many family members and friends who tirelessly loved and cared for her, especially during these past months. Many thanks to TeNolle’s life-long friends, Juanita Boudreaux and Marie Hebert along with Glenda Trahan and Rebecca Guidry.
