The Life of Eugene Joseph Patin Sr.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, July 6, 2015 in Christian Life Center, 411 Verot School Road, Lafayette, LA 70508 for Eugene Joseph Patin, Sr., 82, who passed away on June 30, 2015.

Pastor Richard Meche will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Patin, a resident of Lafayette , was the son of the late Benedict Patin and the former Mary Chutz.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Patin; daughters, Brandon E. P. Edwards and her husband, Tony, Cheryl Patin-Pilcher and her husband, Larry; sons, Timothy G. Patin and Eugene J. Patin, Jr. and his wife, Beth; step daughters, Rebecca Lynn Landry, Kim Rae Meche; step son, David Troy Alford; sister, Sybil P. Mitchell; grandchildren, Quincy G. Patin, Kendall J. Patin, Bridget E. Richards, Revis C. Edwards, Jacqueline P. Taylor, Jillian L. Willis, Alexandra K. Willis, Mitchel Joseph Patin, Holly Alford, Amber Alford, Charlie Alford, Brittany E. Wishtischin, Benjamin Landry, Casey Meche, and Seth Meche; as well as several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gene enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, hunting, fishing, working, fellowship with others and sharing the Gospel of Christ.

He served his country as a member of the U. S. Navy on the Battle Ship Iowa during the Korean Conflict.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Christian Life Center on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM.

Pallbearers will be David Alford, Tony Edwards, Joey Patin, Revis Edwards, Quincy Patin and Timmy Patin.

Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
