The Life of Wood Alexander Breazeale Jr.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for Wood Alexander Breazeale, Jr., 86, who passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at his residence.
Msgr. Robie Robichaux, JCL, Pastor of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church will be Celebrant of the Mass.
Burial will take place in Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery .
Wood, a resident of Lafayette, LA was the son of the late Wood A. Breazeale, Sr., and the former Clarice Henderson Breazeale.
Wood graduated from St. Stanislaus High School in Bay St. Louis, MS then attended L.S.U. where he met Olive Drago and later married. In 1953, he founded Southern Flow Measurements Company that he expanded throughout many states.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty seven years, Olive Drago Breazeale; his children, Roanne B. Dueitt and husband Jerry, Valerie Claire Breazeale, Wood Alexander "Woody" Breazeale, III, and wife Sue Hampton Breazeale, and Beryl Aline Beaullieu and husband Patrick; his grandchildren, Olivia Landes Truong, Joseph Landes, Desiree Breazeale Staires, Chelsea Breazeale Staires Sun, Brittany Breazeale Staires, Benjamin Alexander Breazeale, Brooke Beaullieu, Dillon Beaullieu and Lauren Beauilleu and his great grandchildren, Calla Jeannine Sun and Isaac Alvarado Landes.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Earl Raggio, Roland LeBlanc, Kenny Dejean, Dr. Sam Moss, Myron Lane Jerome Lane and C.Bounds Talley.
