Shreveport, LA - Raymond Stewart Talbot died suddenly and peacefully at home on Sunday, October 5, 2014. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9 and from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, at Osborn Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Celebrating the Mass will be Fr. Mark Franklin.

Ray was born on April 29, 1945 in Alexandria, LA and was a resident of Shreveport for over thirty years. He was a Pharmacist and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and retired from LSU Medical Center after more than 30 years of service. He was an employee with Shriners Hospital for Children in Shreveport and an active private pilot since 1969.

Ray was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Joseph Talbot; brothers, Robert Charles Talbot and Roger Jay Talbot. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jo Talbot; mother, Edith Carolyn Talbot; daughter, Diane Kuhlmann and husband, Travis; sons, Raymond James Talbot and Jeremy Lynn Talbot and wife, Kristen; grandchildren, Michael Seth Kuhlmann, Anna Rae Kuhlmann and Caleb Monasseh Kuhlmann; sisters, Sandra Jean McMinn and Barbara Ellen Collins; brothers, Ronald Arthur Talbot, Richard Edward Talbot and Randy James Talbot; and sister-in-law, Freda Talbot.
