The Life of Verlin Rita Hebert

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2015 in Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for Verlin Vincent "Maw Maw Bear" Hebert, 92, who passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Reverend Thomas Voorhies, Pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, in Scott, LA will conduct the Funeral Services.

Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Verlin, a resident of Lafayette, LA was the daughter of the late Willis Vincent and the former Eulalee Thibodeaux.

She is survived by her children, Richard A. Hebert and wife Gail, and Peggy H. Romero and husband Patrick; her grandchildren, Alicia Hebert Toups, Shawn Hebert Phillips, Angela Romero and Laycie Romero Falcon; her four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John J. Hebert, one sister, Hazel Borne and her brother, Murphy Vincent.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand Drive on Thursday April 2, 2015 from 9:00 am until time of the service. A Rosary will be recited at 11:00 am on Thursday in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jewel Ellison, Patrick Romero, Wade Falcon, Bobby Toups, Kelly Canulette and John Romero. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard A. Hebert, Manville Borne.

Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
