Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Family Life Christian Church for David James Bourque, age 23, who passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 in Lafayette.

Pastor Todd Menard of Family Life Christian Church will officiate at the service.

Mr. Bourque was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Breaux Bridge. He was a member of Family Life Christian Church. He worked for Breaux''s Mart for eight years. David loved football and video games. He had a big heart and will be missed by many.

Survivors include his parents, Kermit Bourque and the former Joyclyn Hill of Breaux Bridge; his paternal grandparents, Francis and Betty Bourque of Lafayette; his aunts and uncles, Tony and Brenda Delmas, Tammy Hill, Patsy Willis and Teddy Hill all of Lafayette, and Ray and Becky Bourque of Alabama; and five cousins, Jason Willis, Corey Bourque, Cathrine Delmas, Michael Delmas and Rebekah Delmas all of Lafayette.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Solomon and Jacqeline Hill; and his great grandmothers, Lena Vallot and Lillian Portlock.
