Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Edward Primeaux, 78, who died Friday, February 13, 2015 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Lafayette Memorial Park at 3 p.m. with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

He is survived by his life companion, Eula S. Faulk of Gueydan; two sons, Michael J. Primeaux and his wife, Stephanie of Lafayette and Joe Dale Primeaux and his wife, Candy of Lafayette; two daughters, Lori and her husband, Norris Touchet of Kaplan and Donna Lynn Primeaux of New Orleans; one sister, Eula Mae Primeaux Schexnyder and her husband, Levi of Kaplan; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Schexnyder; his parents, Marsule Primeaux and the former Anna Lege; one brother, Chester Primeaux; and one sister, Jean LeMaire.

A special thanks to the people that cared for Mr. Primeaux including Britana Guidry and Family Choice Care nurse, Lilia Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 11 a.m.
