The Life of Carlin Paul Dronet
Private Graveside services were held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM for Carlin Dronet, 79, who died on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Maison de Lafayette Nursing Home surrounded by his family.
Inurnment was held in Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery in Lafayette.
Reverend William Schambough , officiated the services.
He left to cherish his memory, his guardian Cammy Beaullieau; and his cousin, Maria Fabre Manuel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Opta "SuSu" Dronet and Noelie "Nan" Guillot Dronet.
Mr. Dronet was a native of Vermilion Parish, Louisiana and a resident of Lafayette for most of his life. He enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with his friends, residents, and staff of Maison de Lafayette Nursing Home. He was a member of the Cathedral of St. John Catholic Church Community in Lafayette for many years. Mr. Dronet was a loving soul, and will be missed and cherished by all who knew him.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses, Dr.''s and staff of Maison de Lafayette Nursing Home, for their kindness, compassion, and wonderful care given to Mr. Dronet and his family during their time of need.
