The Life of Bernard Littleton Baskerville Jr.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA for Bernard "Bernie" Littleton Baskerville, Jr., who passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

Pastor Mark Lewis, of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, in New Iberia, LA, will officiate.

Bernie was born in Washington D.C. and was a resident of Lafayette, LA. He worked as a Postal Service Supervisor for forty plus years in Oakland, CA.

Bernard, affectionately known as, "Bernie" leaves to mourn his wife of 48 years, Quintella Thibeaux Baskerville and his God-daughter, Venus D. Johnson, Esq. of Sacramento, CA; nieces, Michele Thibeaux Lyons of Houston, TX and Donna Thibeaux of Oakland, CA, and one nephew, Peter Thibeaux of Tiburon, CA.

Bernie was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Lillie E. Baskerville-Mason; his beloved mother-in-law, Florence Broussard Thibeaux; father-in-law, Ulyless Thibeaux and brothers-in-law, Eldridge and Wildon Thibeaux.

The family wishes to thank staff members of Heart of Hospice and Our Lady of Lourdes of Lafayette, LA for the compassionate care given to Bernie and his family.
