The Life of Barbara Joan Sonnier
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at an 11:00 AM Service in Martin & Castille''s La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette for Barbara Joan Stuart Sonnier, age 74, who died at 10:05 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Reverend Jeff Cook will conduct the funeral services.
She is survived by her sister, Karen Wallace and husband, Robert of Houston, TX; daughters, Beth K. Thibodeaux and husband Tim of Cypress, TX, and Camay S. Hulin and husband Corey of Lafayette; her son, Brent Sonnier and wife Anna of Grand Prairie, TX; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas John Sonnier; and her parents, Kenneth and Adeline Bentley.
Mrs. Sonnier was born on January 7, 1941 in Washington, Missouri and was a resident of Maurice. She was a loving home maker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dallas Sonnier, Logan Thibodeaux, Tim Thibodeaux, Corey Hulin and Alex Hulin.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
