The Life of Lozia Rose Simon
A Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for Lozia Rose D. Simon, 77, who passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 8:20 am at her residence.
Reverend Brian Taylor, Pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Lozia Rose, a resident of Lafayette, LA was the daughter of the late Stephen Domingue and the former Lucille Thibodeaux.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty eight years, Pierre Simon Jr.; her daughters, Sherry Lynn Simon, Odette S. Gaudin and husband Avery T. Gaudin, Sr. and Larissa Ann Moore; grandchildren, John Lee Gerard,Jr., Heather Salpietre, Brandy Richards, Avery Gaudin,Jr., Harrison Moore, Georgeanna Moore; five great grandchildren and two sisters, Barbara Martin and Jacqueline Domingue and husband Jerry.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robley Domingue.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand Drive on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm on Sunday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Monday, December 1, 2014 from 8:00AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Harrison Moore, Avery T. Gaudin, Sr., Avery T. Gaudin, Jr., John Lee Gerard Jr., Jerry Domingue and Jay Venable.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
