The Life of Lawless Louis Guilbeau Jr.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at 1:00 PM in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers in Lafayette, for Lawless Louis Guilbeau, Jr., 74, who passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at his home in Broussard. Interment will be held in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand Wednesday, August 27, 2014, from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday at 12:30 PM.

Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the funeral services.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Vallot and Penny Guilbeau, both of Broussard; two grandchildren, Logan and Chelsie Guilbeau; two sisters, Barbara Romero and Carrol Smith, both of Broussard; and his companion of four years, Louise Boutte of Broussard. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Shirley Guilbeau; parents, Lawless Louis Guilbeau, Sr. and Nellie Champagne Guilbeau; and one brother, Gerald Guilbeau.

Lawless Guilbeau, Jr. was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of Guilbeau Plumbing, Inc. for 40 years. After retirement, he drove for Limousines, Ltd. in Lafayette. Lawless will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Pallbearers will be Logan Guilbeau, Don Girouard, Kevin Vallot, Patrick Champagne, Craig Viator and Dave Perrett.

The Guilbeau family would like to thank Heart of Hospice for all their care and concern.
