A Memorial Mass will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 8, 2014 in the Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for Guadalupe Alamillo Ramirez, 82, who passed away on August 5, 2014 at 1:45 pm on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at her brother''s residence in Butte La Rose, LA
Reverend Brian Taylor, Pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church will conduct the funeral services.
Her granddaughter, Erin Duhon will do the readings for the Mass.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Guadalupe, a resident of Lafayette, LA was the daughter of the late Sabino Alamillo and the former Elisa Chavez.
She is survived by her children, Luis M. Ramirez, and Melissa G. Sonnier and companion Chad Gondran, Cesar Cazares and wife Wanda, Edward Cazares and wife Maxine, Everett Cazares and wife Donna, Martha Baudoin, Theresa Huval and husband Brian; her brother, Abel Chavez and wife Paula; her sisters, Elisa Alamillo and Evita Alamillo; her twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of forty nine years Luis G. Ramirez, her brother, Everardo Alamillo, her son-in-law Douglas Baudoin, and daughter-in-law Paula Cazares.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand Drive on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. A Rosary will be prayed at 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon in the funeral home.
