The Life of William A Koch Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 10:30 am in Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for William A. Koch, 93, who passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 10:57 pm at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Reverend Daniel Edwards, Pastor of St. Jules Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass.

Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

William, a resident of Lafayette, LA was the son of the late William Koch and the former Rose Ritsky.

William was a veteran of World War II having served in the U. S. Air Force in the China Burma India Theater, he served as a Pilot. William returned from the service and began his career in the Flooring Industry as Southern Sanding Co. which became known as Southern Tile Co.

He is survived by his children; Karla L Theall and husband Donald, Mark A. Koch, Howard Neil Koch and wife Pennye, Claire K. Hines and husband Dr. Michael Hines, Kristina K. Suire and husband Ricky, Stefan S.Koch and wife Kathryn; grandchildren, Benjamin Theall, Jamie Johnson, Jesse Koch, Kamryn Heard, Caroline Koch, Kristina Suire, Kaylin Suire, Jessica Suire, Justin Suire, Gabrielle and Kyle Koch and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Claire LeBlanc Koch; his son Eric Koch; his brother, Bob Koch; granddaughter, Donna Andre Theall.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand Drive on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 9:00 am until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Mark Koch, Neil Koch, Stefan Koch, Benjamin Theall. Justin Suire and Kyle Koch.

Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
