The Life of Betty Huval

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at a 10:00 A.M. at Lafayette Memorial Park for Betty B. Huval, 72, of Lafayette, Louisiana who went peacefully to her resting place on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 surrounded by her immediate family.

Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Betty is survived by her most loving devoted husband and best friend of 55 years, James M Huval, Sr.; five children, Roxanne Huval of Lafayette, Vicki Huval and husband Mike of Morse, LA., Jimbo Huval of Williston, ND., Dixie Huval Mulhearn of Baton Rouge, LA., and Kelly Joe Huval and wife Sandy of Lafayette, LA.; ten grandchildren, Christopher Galvez and wife Chamaine of Youngsville, Molly Rabalais Miller and husband Kenneth (Scoot) of Scott, Derek Rabalais and wife Jamie of Luling, Austin Huval of Lafayette, Timothy Huval of Lafayette, Melody Huval of Lafayette, Jesse Huval of Morse, Brock Mulhearn of Baton Rouge, Kristen Holland of Lafayette, and Damion Guillory of Lafayette; nine great grandchildred, Christian Galvez, Lane and Briggs Miller, Jay, Kate and Leah Rabalais, Alanna Holland, Lyric Turner and Amiree Alexander; one sister Sherry Bearbe Stafford and husband Todd; and two nieces Shelly Bearbe and Monica Romero.

Betty is proceeded in death by her father, Linus Bearbe; mother, Merida Lantier Bearbe; one brother Glen Michael Bearbe and one grandson, Dylan Michael Bihm.

Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She had a passion for sewing, decorating, bowling and playing cards with her best friends.

Pallbearers will be Derek "D.J." Rabalais, Christopher Galvez, Timothy Huval, Kenneth Miller, Jr., Chad Menard and Brian Menard.

Honorary Pallbearers will be James M. Huval, Jr., Kelly Joe Huval, Mike & Jesse Huval.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN location on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of graveside service at Lafayette Memorial Park.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 6:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home.

The Huval Family would like to extend a warm Thank You to all of the staff of St. Joseph Hospice, especially Nurse Debbie, Nurse Chris, Nurse Carla, C.N.A. Charlotte and C.N.A. Mona

We would also like to thank all of our friends and extended family for all of your prayers, well wishes, and dishes of delicious food. We love all of you.
