The Life of Francis Ray Richard
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Community Baptist Church for Francis R. "Frank" Richard, 81, who passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 5:01 pm at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Pastor Tom Lambert, of Community Baptist Church will conduct the memorial services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Frank, a resident of Lafayette, LA was the son of the late Joseph Richard and the former Cecile Breaux.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years Martha Jane Hebert Richard; his daughters, Donna R. Gibbons and husband Jim, and Debbie R. Shackelford and her fiancee’ Ron Smith; his four grandchildren, Robin Carrier and husband Joey, Brandon Shackelford and wife Cheryl, Taylor Shackelford and Jennifer Hochstetler and husband Luke; three great grandchildren. Ryan Carrier, Zach Hochstetler and Chyanna Hochstetler; his brother in law, Robert Hebert; his sister in law, Ruth Vidrine and husband Ronnie; and his two half brothers, Eustise “Frenchie” Pomier and Blackie Pomier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son in law Terry Webb, his grandson Christopher Webb.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Community Baptist Church 800 Rue De Belier Lafayette, LA 70506 on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 10:00 am until time of services.
