The Life of Marlowe Leroy Anderson
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at an 11:00 A.M. Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Marlowe "Andy" Anderson, 85, who died on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at his residence in Lafayette.
Entombment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
Reverend Richard Humphries of Asbury United Methodist Church will conduct the funeral services. Eulogist will be Xavier Baudoin d''Ajoux
Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing for the services "Amazing Grace", "Call on Jesus", "How Great Thou Art", "In The Garden", and "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot."
Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Verna Anderson; two daughters, Sandra Anderson Hebert and Cynthia Anderson Baudoin d''Ajoux; eleven sons, Bruce Anderson, Blaine Anderson, Andy Anderson, Randy Anderson, Marlowe Anderson II, Stacy Anderson, Ron Stephenson, Gary Stephenson, Curtis Stephenson, Scott Stephenson, and Carl Cole; one sister, Linnea Hinrichs; two brothers, Arlie Anderson, and Lindy Anderson; twenty-nine grandchildren; and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hjalmer and Edla Anderson; one brother, Donald Anderson; one sister, Loraine Anderson; and a step-mother, Edna Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Randy Anderson, Xavier Baudoin d''Ajoux, Caleb Hebert, Cody Beebe, Jakob Anderson, and David Hebert.
Honorary pallbearers will Tony Guillory and Ryan Boyd.
A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the funeral home.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN location on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 9:00 AM until time of services.
