The Life of Stanley R Geiger

Stanley R. Geiger, 91, formerly of Kutztown, died April 9, 2014 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the widower of Florence M. (Gallmoyer) Geiger who died in 1974.

Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late John and Gertrude (Meitzler) Geiger. Stanley was a member of Saint John's United Church of Christ, Kutztown. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving in World War II, and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kutztown. Mr. Geiger was employed as a sheet metal worker by Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown, for over 40 years until his retirement in 1984.

He is survived by Daughters, Diane L. (Geiger), wife of Edward German, Kutztown, Barbara A. (Geiger), wife of Michael Keck, Kempton, Cathy A. (Geiger), wife of Michael S. Berg, Blandon, Laurie K. Geiger, Fleetwood, and Lisa J. Geiger, companion of Bruce D. Adam, Fleetwood. Other survivors include Grandchildren, Beth Kern, Scott German, Jennifer Tabor, Chuck Hoch and Christopher Berg; and Great Grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Cecelia and Genevieve Tabor, Ryan and Robyn Hoch and Tristan Berg. He was predeceased by 3 Sisters and 4 Brothers.

Funeral Services are Monday, April 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment will follow in New Bethel Zion Cemetery, Greenwich Township. Friends may call Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
