The Life of Florence M Phillips

Florence M. (Tustin) Phillips, 83, of Rockland Township, died April 8, 2014, in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Michael P. Phillips, who died July 3, 2012. She was a daughter of the late George and Florence (Devitt) Tustin. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown, where she was a member of the Ladies Faith Sharing Group.  Mrs. Phillips was employed as a Nurse's Aide at The Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, for over 20 years until her retirement in 1995.

She is survived by Sons, Michael P., Jr., husband of Velda (Howe) Phillips, Fort Thompson, SD and Timothy M. husband of Stephanie A. (Sutton) Phillips, Mertztown; Daughters, Susan M. (Phillips) Geist-Bailey widow of William C. Bailey, Westfield, Tioga County and Eileen B. (Phillips) widow of Gregory A. Geist, Lawrenceville, Tioga County. Other survivors include a Sister, Gertrude (Tustin) Nolen, a resident at Pennsburg Manor, Pennsburg. There are also 10 Grandchildren, 7 Step Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren and 8 Step Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Brother, George Tustin.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 9:45 AM from Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, 19530. Inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Lebanon County. Friends may call from 8:45 to 9:45 AM in the church.

The family requests contributions to Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
