The Life of Robert W. Simpson

ROBERT W. SIMPSON, SR., 77, of Hudson, Fla., died Aug. 6 at Hernando Pasco Hospice. Formerly of Glen Mills, Mr. Simpson moved to Florida in 2002. He served in the Navy for 10 years as a parachute rigger. Mr. Simpson retired from Allstate Insurance after 45 years. A lifetime member of the VFW Post 5546, Mr. Simpson was also a member of Harmony Lodge No. 52 in Philadelphia, American Legion Post 186, and Aripeka Elks 2520. He was a member of the Shriner’s clown unit, Tri-state Hog of Media, and Bay City Flyers Club, Hernando Radio Control. Survivors: Wife, Betty Simpson; sons, Robert Simpson Jr. of Media, David Grayston of Clearwater, Fla., Scott Simpson of Darby; daughters, Patty McCunney of Aston, Sheryllyn Kalinowsky of Aston; sister, Mary Buckley of New Jersey; 12 grandchildren. Visitation: 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Heritage Pines Clubhousem Hudson, Fla. Service: Will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.
