Truck Driver Gordon ‘Gordy’ Reincke, Jr., 56 of Wilmington, Del., a truck driver, died February 13 at Christiana Care of Wilmington.

Born in Upland, Mr. Reincke was a resident of Upper Chichester before moving to Wilmington 10 years ago. He was a 1968 graduate of Chichester High School. Mr. Reincke was a truck driver for Westlake Plastics in the Lenni section of Aston for 20 years before retiring in 1991 due to illness.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Reincke was a member of Linwood United Methodist Church in Lower Chichester. An avid hunter, he maintained a cabin in Tioga County for several years. Mr. Reincke enjoyed old movies and was an Eagles, Phillies, and NASCAR fan.

He was the son of the late Grace Talley and Gordon Reincke, Sr. and the half-brother of the late Tom Talley. Survivors: sister, Gail E. Adams of Concord Township; one niece; one nephew. Service; 2 p.m. Friday, Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Bethel Township. Visitation: 1-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial: Elam Cemetery, Concord Township. Contributions: Linwood United Methodist Church, 1627 Chichester Ave., Linwood, PA 19061.
