The Life of Thomas D Coslar

Thomas D. Coslar Age 63, of Bethel Twp., PA, died May 2, 2008 at home. Born and raised in Tannersville, PA he had resided in Bethel Twp., PA for the past 25 years and was also a former resident of Delaware for 11 years.

He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated his own business, Computer Systems Consulting Service for over 25 years, where he was hired by large insurance firms for Project Management.

He was known for his math skills, he was a member of the Mathematical Association of America, also the American Mensa, (the High IQ Society). He was active and was in support of Environmentalism and fighting global warming. An avid baseball fan, he successfully participated in Rotisserie League. For several years, he was an associate Scout for the Houston Astros, Mr. Coslar graduated from SUNY, the State University of New York, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Coslar and mother and stepfather, Mary Owens Coslar Neipert and Ralph Neipert; 1 sister, Marylou Coslar; and 1 stepbrother, Eugene Neipert. He is survived by his wife, Nancy A. Guthrie Coslar of 35 years; 2 daughters, Angelica (George) Belka of Ardsley, PA and Bethany Coslar of Newport, DE; 1 son, Timothy Coslar of Delaware County, PA; and 3 grandchildren, Joshua Coslar, Elizabeth and Victoria Belka.

Memorial service will be held 11 am, Saturday, May 10, at the PAGANO FUNERAL HOME, 3711 Foulk Road, Bethel Twp., PA where visitation will be held Saturday from 10-11 am.
