APPMAN CHARLES F.
94, of Wexford, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013. He was the loving husband of the late Jane L. (Malcher) Appman; beloved father of Wayne (Karen) Appman, Bill (Lynn) Appman and Wendy Jane (Greg) McCalip; also survived by six grandchildren, Zach, Will, Tim, Melanie, Jessica, and Chance. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, William; and two sisters, Dorothy and Laverne. Charles was a proud veteran of the United States Army where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was a survivor of the Malmedy Massacre. Friends will be received on Thursday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. in the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., 412-364-4444. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with interment to follow in Allegheny Cemetery.
