The Life of Edward L. Finn

Edward L. Finn,76 Edward L. Finn, beloved husband, father, Pop-Pop and friend to many, died suddenly on July 5, 2012 at the age of 76. Ed was born and raised in Philadelphia and Upper Darby, and had lived in Glen Mills for more than 40 years.He was a proud graduate of St. Thomas More Boys Catholic High School (inducted into their Sports Hall of Fame) and The West Chester University, and had a very successful 35-year career with The Equitable. He and his wife of 50 years, Deanna (Dryden), were members of Elam United Methodist Church community, in Glen Mills, PA. Ed served on the annual committee of the Delaware County Hero Bowl.He was also a 37-year member of Concord Country Club. Survivors: Children Bryan (Eva) Finn of Sweden, Debbie (Rick) Clark of West Chester and Matt (Jacqui) Finn of Wallingford; grandchildren Samantha, Colin and Philip Clark; Eric, Ellen, Patrick and Bridget Finn; brothers Emmett and Eugene. Services: Relatives and friends and invited to his memorial service on Wednesday July 11th at 11 AM at the Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Rd., Glen Mills, PA. Calling Hour 10 to 11 AM that morning at the church.Burial will be in the adjoining Elam Church Cemetery after the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the St. Thomas More Scholarship Fund, STM Scholarships Fund, P.O.
