Pvt. John A. Micknowski, 25, a paratrooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Micknowski of 4728 Plum Way, was killed in France June 24, 1944. He attended Washington Trade School and worked for the Heppenstall Co. before entering the service. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Helen Micknowski; his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
