NUNNALLY THOMAS M.
Age 74, after a brief illness, on Monday, September 26, 2016, of Forest Hills. Beloved husband of 48 years to Carolyn D. Nunnally; loving father of Matthew (Ashley) Nunnally, Annie (Justin) Eason, and Hope (Jarrett) Haynes; dear granddad of Rosalyn and Calloway Nunnally and Joseph Thomas "JT" Eason; brother of Nancy (James) LaFavor. Tom was born and raised in Athens, GA. He received a BBA from the University of Georgia in 1964 and an MBA from the University of Arizona in 1970. After college, Tom was an officer in the US Navy in the Naval Supply Corps and served during the Vietnam War. Tom enjoyed a very successful career in the banking industry in Pittsburgh. He built many long lasting relationships while serving as a Senior Loan Executive in area banks. He became CEO of Iron and Glass Bank in the early 1990s. He later became cofounder and SVP of Enterprise Bank where he retired in 2004 but remained on the Board of Directors until his passing. Above all, Tom was committed to serving God, community, and humanity. He was an active member of All Saints Church in Verona and a trustee of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh. Since moving to Pittsburgh in 1975, Tom served on Forest Hills Council, volunteered as a Flivver driver and was recognized as Forest Hills Citizen of the Year in 2014. He was perhaps the most proud of his work with Rotary International and the Forest Hills Rotary Club, where he dedicated his efforts to the Hope Made Real and Pure Water For All projects. He was one of 150 Rotarians worldwide to receive the Service Above Self Award. He will be remembered for his love of Georgia Bulldogs Football, the Masters Golf Tournament, and never ending devotion to his friends, family and countless others.
