The Life of Helen B. Snider
SNIDER, Helen Boswell Snider, age 90, passed on September 14, 2017 at Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Helen was born in Daviess Co. KY on April 11, 1927 to Edward J. and Georgia Lee Boswell. She was a graduate of Daviess County High School in 1945 and Owensboro Business College. She was the Head Bookkeeper for Franklin Security Co. for 9 years before she married.
Although a native of Owensboro, KY, she lived at Dunwoody Village for the past nine years. Prior to 2008 she spent her time between her home in Bryn Mawr and Mariner Sands in Stuart, Florida.
She was a member of the Wayne Presbyterian Church and a Kentucky Colonel. Her passions were golf and her grandchildren. She was a 45 year member of Aronimink Golf Club and held memberships at Mariner Sands Country Club and Willoughby Golf Club in Stuart, Florida.
She was predeceased in death by her husband of 53 yrs. Harlan T. Snider, a former V.P. of Sun Oil Co. and also her sister Kay Yeldell. She is survived by two children Dr. W. Jeff Snider D.M.D (Eileen) and Katherine Snider – Broll (David) and her four grandchildren; Steven T. Broll (Ainsley B. ), Morgan R. Snider, Kelsey E. Broll, and Madison K. Snider.
Relatives, and Friends are invited to her Viewing Thursday evening 6-8 PM at The D'Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall PA 19008. Interment Private Friday, West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
