The Life of Mary McCrea Fant
MARY FANT (nee McCrea), age 87. Beloved wife of John F. Fant Jr. Loving mother of John III (Kathleen), Katherine Mitchell (Martin), Emily Martin (Robert) and Molly Pierce (Andy). Dearest grandmother of eight. Sister of Charles H. McCrea (deceased) and Richard E. McCrea. Graduate of Laurel School (class of 1942) and Wellesley College (Class of 1946). Teacher at Laurel School for 20 years, she shared a love of music, played the harp and was a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus for many years. Accomplished bridge player and former President of The Cleveland Womens Golf Association. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to Laurel School, 1 Lyman Circle, Shaker Hts., OH 44122. Private memorial is planned.
