The Life of William A. Almond Jr.
William Anthony Almond, Jr., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 24th after a short illness. Beloved husband of 55 years to the late Kathleen Baxter Almond. Proud father of Kathleen (John) Knox, Meredith (John) McCormick, William Anthony III (Kerry Bordes) Almond. Loving "Granddaddy" of Kathleen "Katie" and William Baylor Knox, John William "Mac" McCormick, Kathryn Kearney, William Anthony IV, Mary Louise, and John Baxter Almond. Dear brother of the late Sally Ann Almond (the late Dr. Robert S.) Ayerle. To honor what would have been Bill's 82nd Birthday, and his distinguished role as an Usher, his children will attend the 11:45 a.m. Sunday, weekly Mass, today, March 26, 2017 at SS Faith, Hope & Charity Church. Later this spring, a Visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017, 4:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Mass, 5:00 p.m. at SS Faith, Hope & Charity Church, 191 Linden Street, Winnetka, IL 60093. Inurnment West Laurel Hill Cemetery, PA.
